The site is in a sustainable location with strong road, cycling and walking networks into Huntington. Nearby Monks Cross has a Park & Ride to promote sustainable travel to the city centre, as well as leisure, health and grocery shopping options.
The site is adjacent to land to the north which is subject of an ongoing Planning Appeal in relation to proposals for housing brought forward by Barratt Homes.
